The sites at Upper Canadian Heritage are hosted free to the owners of the various websites. Our only "stipulation" in offering the server space is that the sites must be relevant to the history and heritage of Upper Canada or cater specifically to living historians and re-enactors.
To pay for our servers and space we greatly appreciate any donations or gifts you can afford to send us. Unfortunately, we cannot issue tax receipts as we have not received "charity" status from the government, but the moneys will be put towards keeping all the heritage sites online and working so everyone with an interest in history can enjoy them, free of charge.
If you can give a gift to keep our sites running, please use our PayPal account by clicking on the link below. There's no limit or minimum amount to give as a gift to our sites and ALL gifts are greatly appreciated and help us keep our service going strong!
Please Note: The sites listed on our main page are either physically on or using the Upper Canadian Heritage servers... This is not just a collection of "heritage" links. If you want a "link" and that's all, please contact the individual sites listed on the main page.
If you have a site or idea and wish to have it hosted here, please e-mail us at uch@uppercanadianheritage.com and our site directors will get back to you on if we can host your site. We can't guarantee we can accomodate everyone and we are unable to host anymore full domains (we can't offer anymore www.yourdomainname.com or whatever) but we can offer sub-domains and sub-directories (things like yourname.uppercanadianheritage.com or www.uppercanadianheritage.com/yourname/). We will try to accomodate as many people as possible...
